We love kale chips. During this season of endless kales, our oven is producing those tasty chips one batch after another. Not only we adults like them, but also our kids are addicted to them! This is one snack that couldn’t get any healthier either!
Here’s our own and very simple recipe:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Use all the kale from your boxes, wash it well, dry the leaves, and rip them into bite size pieces. Remove the inner stems if they are too coarse.
Place the kale pieces on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil and sea salt. For added flavor, sprinkle a touch of cayenne pepper over them.
Put in the oven and bake. If you have several baking sheets, after 5 minutes reverse order.
Turn off heat after 10 minutes and let sit in oven for another 40 to 45 minutes or until leaves are dry.
Take out and serve.
